More Reiki Information

REIKI (pronounced Ray-Key) consists of two Japanese words – Rei which translated means divine consciousness or Higher Power and ki means life force energy.  In China life force energy is referred to as chi and in India it is commonly called prana. A way to define Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy.  In Japan, Reiki is pronounced Leiki because the Japanese do not say the letter ‘R’ like we do. This spiritually guided life force energy is an example of unconditional or divine love. Through this awesome love we can connect with our spiritual nature and enhance our spiritual growth.

Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of energy healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from.  It has been effective in assisting virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect.  It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.  Relaxation is an important component in healing ourselves.  Reiki assists the body in healing itself through relaxation and stress reduction so that our ki or vital life energy is flowing smoothly again.

Reiki can be received through Reiki TreatmentsReiki Circle, or taught by a certified Reiki Shinpiden (Master/Teacher as they are referred to in the West) in a Reiki class.  Reiki is administered by light laying on hands and is based on the idea that unseen life force energy flows through every living thing.

Contrary to popular belief our true nature is love, abundance, peace, joy, and light.  Our un-natural state consists of fear, anger, worry, and so on.  Reiki assists us by connecting us with our natural state, infusing our energy systems with divine love, power, and light.

The Inspired Heart believes Reiki is a sacred initiation and the primary purpose of Reiki is self-healing.  As we heal ourselves spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally - we bring wholeness and balance into our lives.  As we truly love ourselves and honour our divinity, our capacity to love and honour others grows exponentially.  Reiki is not a religion; it connects us with our divine essence and can enhance your spiritual practice.

Reiki classes are offered by Barbara, Usui Reiki Shinpiden (Master/Teacher). Reiki is my passion.  Being half-Japanese and taking three Shinpiden level workshops/seminars with two Japanese Reiki Shinpidens (Teachers) brings even more of the Japanese aspects of Reiki into my classes.  My purpose is the Bring Reiki to its Roots and each person who takes my classes is bringing my passion to fruition.  Thank you!

Did you take Reiki training years ago and feel like something is/was missing?  Want a boost in your practice or teachings?  I teach many, many Reiki teachers.  And, through each of you, we are bringing Reiki from its origin to present day.  Gassho!
