Yoga Class Guidelines

  • Open Mind – Be willing and present in your practice. Yoga is a process in which you enjoy the journey rather than strive to achieve a particular goal.
  • Yoga Props – Mats and all other props are available but we do encourage you to bring your own mat.
  • An empty stomach is recommended.  Try eating at least 1-2 hours before coming to class.
  • Bare Feet – You need the traction so as not to slip in the standing poses. Also this allows your feet to breathe and to be exercised more fully.
  • Wear non-restrictive clothes – Wear shorts, leggings, sweat pants, tanks, tee shirts, sweat shirts or exercise clothing. Jeans, slacks and cotton shirts are difficult to move in.
  • Please avoid wearing perfumes or other scented body products.
  • When possible, it is best to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled into your space.
  • Let your teacher know about injuries or conditions that may affect your practice (pregnancy included please).
  • When you arrive – take off your shoes, turn off your cell phone, and enjoy!

*Levels 1 & 2: A combination of traditional Yoga postures offered in simplicity with additional instruction for deepening and advancing ones practice. Attention to breath, focus and relaxing into strength and flexibility is taught throughout.


** Healthy Back Yoga: A slow paced class will combine gentle yoga poses to create more awareness for posture and movement. Learn ways to maintain a limber and strong body. 6 classes $60


*** Meditation and Breath: The fundamentals with several easy and practical meditation and breathing techniques. Learn how to cope better with stress and improve your physical and mental well-being. 6 Classes $50
